About the Position

We are now seeking an engaged preschool teacher who wants to drive teaching forward at our preschool. At Klätterträdet, we continuously work to make preschool a place to look forward to. We do this with a conscious approach so that our preschool becomes inviting, educational, accessible, and enjoyable for all our children. The education invites meetings that create security, joy, and development through care, and by involving the children, we take advantage of their curiosity and desire to learn. In this position, you will, together with other staff, plan, implement, and evaluate the pedagogical work and document in the existing operational systems.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• work with the team to develop children's influence, participation, and responsibility
• be familiar with and follow the applicable curriculum, laws, policies, and routines
• work to offer an accessible learning environment for development, play, and learning
• be responsible for the content and implementation of development talks
• ensure that each child and the group have their needs met, applying a democratic approach

About the Workplace

Klätterträdet is located in Södra Ladugårdsängen and has three departments in nice, bright premises with a yard that invites play in a safe, fun, and educational environment. Talgoxen and Bofinken are departments for the youngest preschool children, while Koltrasten is for the older preschool children.

Our preschool is part of Ängens preschools located in the residential areas of Sörbyängen and Ladugårdsängen in central Örebro. Ängens preschools have close collaboration and exchange with a common management group, training, and shared goals in the development plan and safety plan.

Within the Preschool and Primary School Administration, approximately 4530 employees work. We meet the young residents of Örebro from their first day in preschool to their last day in primary school.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is secure and stable in their role. To achieve the goals of the preschool, we expect you to be driven, take responsibility for your tasks, and have a solution-focused approach. Furthermore, you have the ability to see the big picture and adapt to changing circumstances. In your daily work, you are good at listening and communicating and have a good understanding that children absorb knowledge in different ways and have different conditions. You create good contact with both children, parents, and colleagues. You also master the Swedish language in a way that allows you to communicate with children, relatives, and other staff, as well as document what the operation requires in writing. Since the work involves digital documentation, good computer skills are also required.

Requirements

• licensed preschool teacher, or hold a qualifying degree that entitles you to a license

Meritorious

• experience working as a preschool teacher
• education/experience in ICDP (Guiding Interaction)

Scope and Start Date

Employment type: temporary

Employment rate: 85%

Start date: as soon as possible until June 30, 2026

Additional Information

Preschool teacher license must be attached to the application along with a list of qualifications or a diploma that entitles you to a license.
